Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Autozite, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Autozite is a classifieds marketplace that lets users in Sri Lanka list and browse vehicles, spare parts, rentals, wanted ads and automotive businesses. Autozite is not a dealer, broker, agent, or party to any transaction between users. We do not inspect vehicles, verify listing accuracy, hold funds in escrow, or guarantee any sale, purchase or rental. All transactions are strictly between the buyer and seller.

• You must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid Sri Lankan phone number to register.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
• Administrator accounts authenticate via Google Sign-In only and are restricted to authorized Autozite staff.
• You must provide accurate information when registering and when posting a listing.

• You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and content of anything you post.
• Listings must not be fraudulent, misleading, stolen goods, counterfeit, or otherwise unlawful.
• We may review, moderate, edit, suspend, or remove any listing or account that violates these Terms, at our discretion, with or without notice.
• By posting a listing, you grant Autozite a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, host, and distribute that content on the platform for as long as the listing remains active.
• Uploaded photos must be genuine photos of the item or service being advertised, not stock images misrepresenting the listing.

• Basic use of Autozite (posting a limited number of ads per month) is free.
• Paid membership tiers unlock a higher monthly ad limit, more photos per ad, and other benefits described on our Pricing page.
• Paid plans are activated via manual bank transfer: you submit a payment reference and receipt, which our team reviews before activating your plan. Processing is not instant.
• Fees are shown in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and are non-refundable except where required by law, or where we fail to activate a plan you paid for.

You agree not to:

• Post listings for stolen, counterfeit, or illegal items, or services you are not licensed to provide.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with a business.
• Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download content or contact details from the platform.
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, security controls, or moderation.
• Use the contact details shared on a listing for unsolicited marketing.
• Upload malicious files or attempt to disrupt the platform's operation.

Autozite strongly recommends inspecting any vehicle, part, or service in person, verifying ownership documents, and exercising caution before making any payment. We are not responsible for the condition, legality, or description accuracy of any listing, nor for any dispute, loss, or damage arising from a transaction between users.

The Autozite name, logo, and platform design are the property of Autozite. You retain ownership of content you post, subject to the license granted in Section 4.

Autozite is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Autozite is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or any transaction with another user.

We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms, fraudulent activity, or at our reasonable discretion to protect the platform and its users. You may stop using Autozite and request account deletion at any time.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Autozite after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
